Eco-2 Inline Water Filter
Your Eco-2 consists of the filter and a male and female pushfit adapter.
Advice
Fill in date of installation and advised replacement date on product label with a permanent marker.

This is the layout, once installed.
Find the cold water feed.
TIP: Turn on the cold water tap and feel the pipes. A hot water tap, when opened, will heat up the relevant pipe below the sink so seek out the pipe which feels cold.
Isolate the cold water supply.
Turn off the cold water supply to the braided hose, by turning the isolation valve.
Disconnect the braided hose at the point of the isolation valve.
Use appropriate spanner to loosen and disconnect this join.
Connect the female thread speedfit/pushfit fitting to the isolation valve.
Use appropriate spanner to tighten this fitting in place.
Connect the male thread speedfit/pushfit fitting to the loose end of the braided hose.
Use appropriate spanner to tighten this fitting in place.
Fit the filter to the braided hose.
Simply push the spigot end of the Eco-2 filter into the newly fitted pushfit/speedfit fittings from the tap hose. You can feel a secure connection if you pull back on the filter and it does not release.
Repeat the step with other end of filter (INLET) into pipework from mains supply.

Secured filter will look like this.
Slowly turn the water supply back on.
Use the isolation valve to slowly re-introduce the flow of water into the system. By doing this through incremental adjustments you can check for any leaks whilst slowly increasing pressure and flow.
Run water through system for 1 minute to flush out loose ceramic sediment.

Eco-3 Drinking Water Filter
Congratulations on your new Ecopure Product.
Your Eco-3 PLUS Drinking Water Filter consists of the filter, a replacement cartridge and the mounting bracket.
Advice
Fill in date of installation and advised replacement date on product label with a permanent marker.
Ensure that piping is 6mm diameter before removing old water purifier.

Switch isolation valve to OFF position.
(There are various types of isolation valves.) Now safely remove old water purifier.
Fit tubing to the Eco-3 unit.
By simply pushing the tubing all the way into the Pushfit fittings on the top side of the Eco-3 unit.
Check seal.
To check that this tubing is water tight- pull on the fitted tubing to see that there is no play within the fitting itself.
Pick desired location for bracket.
Using bracket, measure and mark where 2 screws will be located. Fix screws accordingly.
Separate the cradle from the filter head.
Use thumbs to remove cradle from filter.
Screw cradle to mounting bracket.
(Mounting bracket is now mounted on the wall)
Firmly fix mounting bracket at desired location.
Hang bracket on screws inserted in Slide 9 and tighten accordingly. By loosening the cradle screw (as seen in previous slide). We recommend to install the filter unit in an upright vertical position. Tighten screw afterwards.
Slot filter into cradle.
Line up cradle tooth with slot in filter head and push firmly until secure (Mounting bracket is now mounted on the wall).
Connect the 2nd tubing.
To check that this tubing is water tight- pull on the fitted tubing to see that there is no play within the fitting itself.
Turn your filter tap on.
Leave this tap turned open.
Slowly open the isolation valve.
By slowly releasing the water into the newly fitted Eco-3 system, you can monitor that there are no loose fittings which are causing leaks.
Run water through system for 1 minute to flush out loose carbon and ceramic sediment.

Eco-3 Drinking Water Filter Kit
Congratulations on your new Ecopure Product.
Your Eco-3 PLUS Drinking Water Filter consists of the filter, a replacement cartridge, the mounting bracket, The PRV, T-Piece, self-piercing saddle clamp, washers, tubing and a tap.
Drilling
When installing the tap in a marble, stone or slate surface you will require specialist drilling tools.

IMPORTANT!
This is what the final install will look like.
Determine the plumbing type.
Confirm whether you have braided hose or hard copper plumbing which services your selected water feed for your new Ecopure product.
Turn water off.
Turn water off at stop cock or isolate water if isolation valve is installed. Isolation valves and stop cocks come in various different shapes and sizes.
Select the desired location for your tap upon your kitchen countertop.
We suggest next to sink directly above cupboard where installing filter. It is advisable to install so that filter tap flows into sink.
Using a 12mm drill bit and variable speed drill make hole in chosen position in countertop.
Make sure you install for easy access for tightening compression nut under the countertop.
Bolt the tap to the countertop.
Put the end of tap through chrome plate and black rubber washer and then through hole in the countertop, then secure under countertop with locating washes, then the lock washer and finally the nut.
Remove nut from bottom of tap.
Before attaching tubing, slide brass nut over the end of tubing to be attached to tap.
Then slide olive over the end of same tubing to be attached to tap.
Insert the sleeve into end of the tubing.
Push tubing into end of tap and using adjustable spanner, secure by tightening brass compression nut around threaded tap end.
Braided hose instructions.
Use shifting spanner to loosen the braided hose.
Undo the braided hose from the isolation valve. Caution: there will be an excess of water within the pipe which may require mopping up.
Fit the Braided hose adaptor (T-piece) to the isolation valve.
Reconnect the braided hose.
Reconnect the braided hose to the T-piece adaptor.
Cut tubing at desired length.
Take remaining tubing from slide 18 before and measure from filter to T-piece and cut into 2 lengths.
Attach tubing to T-piece.
Secure the tubing to the compression fitting by fastening the nut.
Copper piping instructions.
Find the cold water feed.
Turn on cold water tap and feel the pipes. A hot water tap, when opened, will heat up relevant pipe below sink so seek out pipe which feels cold.
Installing Self-Piercing Saddle Valve.
The system can be mounted on copper piping of 22mm to 15mm in diameter on cold water supply line only. Note: Not to be used on flexipipe, polycop or cobra pipe. Turn off cold water valve under the sink of main valve for the house.
Slide clamp over copper piping.
Tighten bottom screw firmly to hold the clamp in position.
Pierce the copper pipe.
Turn needle valve handle clockwise until firmly seated. The valve is closed in this position.
DO NOT OPEN NEEDLE VALVE UNTIL FULL FILTER INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE.
Turn on main stop cock or isolation valve to pressurise cold water line. Immediately check for leaks.
Take remaining tubing and measure from filter to Saddle Valve and cut tube into 2 lengths.
Connect one of remaining tubes into compression nut using insert and sleeve, then tighten the nut firmly.
For Braided Hose and Copper Piping.
Connecting the PRV.
Insert tubing from Saddle Valve or T-piece to PRV...
... and remaining tubing into other end of PRV.
Connecting the Eco-3 PLUS Filter.
Fit tubing to the Eco-3 unit.
Simply push the tubing (loose end from PRV) all the way into the Pushfit fittings on the top side of the Eco-3 unit - ensure this is into the inlet fitting marked IN.
Check seal.
Check that this tubing is water tight, pull on the fitting tubing to see that there is no play within the fitting itself.
Pick desired location for bracket.
Using bracket, measure and mark where 2 screws will be located. Fix screws accordingly.
Separate the cradle from the filter head.
Use thumbs to remove cradle from filter.
Screw cradle to mounting bracket.

Final stages.
Turn the newly installed filter tap on.
Leave this tap turned open.
If using copper pipe, open needle valve on the self-piercing saddle valve to allow flow of water through system.
Slowly open the isolation valve.
By slowly releasing the water into the newly fitted Eco-3 system, you can monitor that there are no loose fittings which are causing leaks.
Fully open the isolation valve.
Run water through system for 1 minute to flush out loose carbon and ceramic sediment.

Eco-6 Water Remineraliser
Congratulations on the purchase of your Eco-6 Water Remineraliser for Reverse Osmosis units.

The remineraliser is not specific to RO units and can be installed after any drinking water filter to produce healthy alkaline water and increase pH.
Ensure that tubing is 6mm or 1/4” in diameter before starting.

Locate the isolation valve for the water supply to the Reverse Osmosis system.
Turn said isolation valve off.
Select an appropriate distance along this tube.
The Eco-6 filter has a wall mounting bracket supplied, allow enough slack in the tubing to mount the filter on a designated wall/inner cupboard.
Select an appropriate distance along this tube.
The Eco-6 filter has a wall mounting bracket supplied, allow enough slack in the tubing to mount the filter on a designated wall/inner cupboard.
Mount the wall mounting bracket for the Eco-6 filter.
Fit tubing to the Eco-6 filter.
Simply push end of the newly cut tube into each end of the Eco-6.
Mount the Eco-6 onto the wall.
Simply push the Eco-6 into the wall mounting bracket.
Turn the water back on.
Use the isolation valve to slowly re-introduce the flow of water into the system. By doing this through incremental adjustments you can check for any leaks whilst slowly increasing pressure and flow.

Ensure that tubing is 6mm or 1/4” in diameter before starting.

Locate the water feed to the fridge.
This will be an external 6mm tube.
Turn water supply to this feed off.
Turn water off at isolation valve which is found where tubing connects to main plumbing supply.
Select an appropriate distance along this tube.
The Eco-7 filter has a mounting bracket supplied, allow enough slack in the tubing to mount this filter on a designated wall/inner cupboard.
Cut the above tubing.
Ensure that this tubing is in fact 6mm or 1/4 inch in diameter.
Fit tubing to this filter.
Simply push end new end of the cut tube into each end of the Eco-7.
Mount the Eco-7 onto the wall.
Simply push the Eco-7 into the mounting bracket.
Turn the water back on.
Use the isolation valve to slowly re-introduce the flow of water into the system. By doing this through incremental adjustments you can check for any leaks whilst slowly increasing pressure and flow.
Run water through system for 1 minute to flush out loose carbon and ceramic sediment.
